Blend X AKA Witches Brew

On a long journey for a dark roast FULL bodied cup of coffee with no citrus notes or flowery background 🙄 and I finally found it, BLEND X Witches Brew 😁 It was everything I wanted it to be 😍 so I got 5 more bags. Stop searching for a dark roast, you found it ✌🏾

This is by far my favorite Dark Roast. It’s a perfect blend for a pot or ground up for espresso. Always in my coffee order.

First discovered Jim's Organic at Hannaford in Maine, many years ago. My sister got the Sweet love Blend, which is also very good. I was drawn in by the Witches Brew, name, and it's classification as Very Dark. It does not disappoint!

I've worked for years as a Barista, and like to frequent local coffee shops to see what everyone is brewing but I still come back to this coffee! It is the absolute best I've even had! I use it for everything from Drip, espresso, French press, Moka pot, Percolated, cold brew, it's excellent no matter what!

Luckily I can pick it up at my local Hannaford and I hope I always can, but will buy online if I ever need to!

I have been using this Witches Brew by Jim's for about 5 years now. I switched to ordering directly from Jim's about 3 years ago and plan to forever have this awesome coffee delivered to me. I assumed that although I think this is the best coffee, probably there were others as good that I just didn't know about BUT, I gave a bag to a friend, she couldn't believe how great it is and is now also a customer!!

I have been exclusively using a French press for 3 years and have been buying the same brand(and flavor) of ground coffee the entire time. I decided that I wanted to switch over the whole bean coffee and grind it myself to control the level of coarseness and to get a fresher cup of coffee. This coffee was not a disappointment, it is beautiful and tastes so fresh with no bitter/weird after taste. I drink my coffee black and this is a smoothe but crisp tasting coffee. I will be a repeat buyer and will explore the other coffees as well.

Very delicious, deep and dark roast. Great body and depth. My highest recommendation.

The name caught my interest first. Then my nose did...so rich smelling! Its taste is soooo deep & gratifying. Now, its my favorite.

Best dark brew! Great blend of beans, this was very good. Better than Italian Roast, had way more flavor in my opinion. Italian Roast was darker, but not as flavorfu

Great, but careful how you buy.Wonderfully dark , smooth and robust. Last few bags haven't been as fresh and slightly bitter, I suggest getting it from here or open bin. Always trust your nose.

Many dark roasts are reasonably dark, but have a sort of “stonefruit” aftertaste of which I’m not a big fan. There are very few dark roast coffees that actually have that slightly burnt (burnt is different than bitter!), smokey taste that I LOVE - this is one of them! Will be buying this again!! Happy to support a Mass small business.

We first enjoyed Witches Brew at a local coffee house in Andover, NJ. But this blend was always the one sold out, so I decided to start buying it on line...in the 4 lb whole bean bags. Now, nothing else will do. It's just...sublime.

Witch's Brew caught my eye years ago in a food coop in New Hampshire where I was visiting...It was back when your bags where colorful jungles. I returned to Cape Cod with your coffee beans and I was hooked after my first pot of rich liquid darkness. Over the years, I bought your coffee beans when ever and where ever I was lucky enough to find Witch's Brew. But, now I am never out because I buy my beans directly from you! Thank you for the goodness that I enjoy in my cup!

Was visiting a friend in Maine and found this at Hannaford Grocery Store. It was the only bag of Jim's Organic Coffee but the name, Witches Brew and Very Dark Roast caught my attention so I grabbed it! OMG!! This is amazing!! I live in Northeastern Ohio so I doubt I will find it locally so I will definitely purchase some online. Drinking some as we speak.

We've been enjoying this daily (hand ground, pour over) for the last eight months and we love it more and more everyday. It's just the best. As Lauren Bacall would say... It's a coffee lover's dream. I think you'll really go for it.

I love dark roast and I have tried many over the years, but this one is the best of all of them. Including many brands of Sumatra and “Death Wish Coffee” which are also very good. But I will drink this coffee for the rest of my life.

Noticeably better coffee.
Go eat a store bought donut and then go to a pastry shop. The difference is clear.
I like everything bold and full bodied. Stiff red wine, high gravity beer, top shelf bourbon, etc. For these things to be good, they have to ease into those qualities. If they're bold for the sake of being bold, like some painfully over hoppy IPAs, they sorely miss the mark.
This coffee achieves a flavor and complexity that hints at pedigree and is better than I've ever had. Not joking or being dramatic or anything like that, it's just that good.

Tips:
Coarse ground, cinnamon and cayenne in the grounds, pour over brew, local honey, stir with a silver teaspoon. #yourewelcome

I normally buy flavored coffee but o grabbed this on sale at my local store on a whim. And WOW! I don’t know if I will ever go back. It’s so smoooooth, doesn’t have the sharp bitterness that most other dark roast coffees have. 10/10 would recommend.

Best coffee ever. Hard for me to keep it in the cabinet. Going to buy the 5lb bag online to reduce carbon emissions by going back and forth to the store :)

I've been buying this coffee for many years, but now it seems to be out of stock wherever I shop. I'm happy to be able to purchase it online now. No other coffee can compare to the richness!

I picked this up because the name caught my attention and then I questioned whether I should pay more for this brand instead of just getting what was on sale or my go to coffee… I will gladly pay more for witches brew… it is probably the only coffee I will buy from now on

Found at Publix in NC. We made cold brew from it. It's very good!

I found witches brew in a King Soopers in Arvada, CO. I was getting a bit jaded and had formed the opinion that the only difference between coffee was how dark it is roasted. The name caught my attention, but it was much more expensive than other brands. I went ahead and picked up two bags, I was amazed at how smooth and flavorful it was. As long as I can find this coffee, I’ll gladly pay more for Witches Brew to make my mornings just a bit better. Actually makes me look forward to getting up and brewing that first pot.

This is the best dark roast available, in my opinion. When buying coffee it’s important to me that it’s organic, fair trade, whole bean, and fresh. This coffee, all the flavors, are exactly that. Ever since college I’ve become a coffee snob because I had a professor who was very knowledgeable about coffee and taught me a lot about what to buy and to find out where and how it is sourced, it’s very important to support the farmers.

Ridiculously delicious! I bought this on a whim knowing nothing about the company or the coffee and I am so glad I did. It tastes like a pour over cup from a fancy coffee place right out of our automatic drip machine. If you like a very dark roast you will love this coffee.

Best Dark Coffee EVER! I just started making my coffee at home after 13 years of going to SBX daily with friends and liked the consistency - I tried to find a nice dark roast that had BOLD flavor and it took me WEEKS! I finally picked up this coffee and it's the BEST!

Been loving it for years.. now it's hard to find, our closest Earth fare and Fresh thymes, no longer have spots for blend x .. disappointing, we have to forage farther. Worth it
