Colombian Santa Marta Montesierra Coffee
FLAVOR NOTES:
Deeply rich and opulent with milk chocolate-like notes.
Our Colombian coffee is sourced from Montesierra, a group of farmers located in the Parque National Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in the northeast of Colombia, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Here, the mountains rise dramatically from a calm beach to rainforest conditions at ideal coffee elevation. Cloud cover over the mountain ridge captures moisture, producing high quality, large, rich coffee beans under rainforest shade. The coffee balances milk chocolate flavors with berry notes: a truly rich experience.

JIM's notes...
For many years, there was no certified organic coffee coming out of Colombia. When we finally gained a consistent supply, it moved to our top sellers list and has not looked back. A testament to the gone-but-not-forgotten Juan Valdez campaign. And of course to our now consistent high quality supply.

The best coffee I’ve ever had. Better than Starbucks, better than Dunkin. Thrilled it’s so close!

My family members have been ordering this coffee since 2012. I recommended this coffee to my friends, relatives, and neighbors. I have never met anyone who did not like this coffee after he/she tasted it.

This is a great roast. I’m on a quest to try as many roasters are possible and it’ll be hard to not keep a bag of this in the freezer.

I have been drinking Jim’s Colombian for many years and it’s the best. Nothing at all compares to it.

Words cannot describe the taste, texture, smell, and mouth feel of this coffee. This medium roast was well oiled. Full bodied flavor with just the right hint of acidity (hard to find in a single origin)! The other reviewers are right, I am never going back to other brands. I am excited to try the other Jim’s organic varieties! Glad to be supporting organic, and dedicated people who really care about all the steps in making really good coffee from farm to table.
Gina Girard – :
Just happened upon this bag of coffee at the grocery store. I am drinking it for the first time right now. Probably the best tasting coffee I have ever sipped. I am going to buy this coffee on your site so I can get the whole bean kind. Thank you for your patience, It paid off!
Fred Wolff – :
This coffee totally rocks.
Marsha palmer – :
Best coffee hands down. I’ve been trying different coffees for a few years now and finally found the very best. This is my first Jim’s blend and absolutely love it. I will try some of the others as well! Thank you for a good cup of brew!
Tracy – :
I started drinking coffee late in life, 45. The first few years I drank coffee, I would try a different brand each time the last ran out. That is how I came to Jim’s Colombian Santa Marta. Since that time, Jim’s is all I buy. The search for my favorite coffee ended with Jim’s. This is a world class coffee. If all coffee was so delicious, I would have formed my coffee habit a lot earlier in life. Thank you Jim’s!
Marta – :
My favorite coffee so far, i usually go for dark roast whole bean coffee and when i saw this at the local grocery store i couldnt resist, and its organic! what makes it evwn better we share the same name
David Lewis – :
My family has been buying Jim’s Organic Coffee since the mid 90’s and I recently got back into buying whole beans. The Columbian Santa Marta single origin was my first bag in years and I can confidently say, this is the best coffee I have ever tried. Brewed in an Aeropress. I will be buying more very soon!
Alix Rodriguez – :
I’m Colombian and I’ve tried good coffee from many parts of the country, I cannot get enough of Jim´s Santa Marta, it’s the best coffee EVER.
Brenda Lippe – :
I absolutely love this coffee. It has no bitter after taste and a rich flor and color. I’ve had coffee from Colombia before and it’s very good but not like this organic blend. Please do not get rid of this. I’ve tried it for the first time and I’m never buying another kind again. Btw please disregard my other message looking for it lol I didn’t look further into the shop.
M. Wirth – :
Please, never change the way you make Jim’s Colombian whole bean coffee ! It tastes like “Real Coffee” should. Before tasting yours, I was buying a different brand name coffee, for years, then all of a sudden one bag tasted different. Thought maybe just me, but when Husband tried it he agreed, not good. Bought another a few weeks later and same thing, bad and weak tasting. From that point on tried different brands, and just horrible flavor, bitter and aroma not like true coffee. Found your brand tried it and oh my god, THE BEST ! It is so good that I tried making cold brew also, at home. Everyone has commented how great it is , and I will never buy another coffee again ! So Please don’t change anything about your coffee. It is the smoothest , non bitter tasting, coffee I have ever had !! Thank You
M. Wirth (Plainfield,Illinois)
Stan Reznicek – :
I think this coffee is closer to dark roast than medium roast, and I don’t like the taste of the roast to be stronger than the taste of the coffee, which in my opinion is the case with this coffee. I won’t be buying it a 2nd time.
Genevieve – :
Best organic coffee!
