Our darkest roast. We use Guatemalan as its primary ingredient and take it as far as we dare go. The Guatemalan is a dense and powerful coffee so we can roast it very dark without it picking up a burnt taste.
Not what I expected, but good. Usually Italian Roasts are very dark tasting, this was not as dark as I had hoped. Very good still, I just enjoyed Blend X much more for dark roast coffee.

So happy I found this roast years ago - been on subscription ever since. By far, the best dark roast coffee I have ever run across. Not sure how it can be so dark and bold, yet not come across as burnt or overly bitter - nice job!
