President - but really just a guy who likes coffee.

Hobbies/Interests:
Being outdoors, and spending time with family and the dogs, Mocha and Brew.

Favorite Jim’s Organic Coffee and why:
All of them for different reasons... but if I have to choose --

Guatemalan Lake Atitlan Tzanchaj - both for the work we do with the school there and also because on one of my visits I took my oldest daughter Josephine. Not the mention the coffee is “black forest cake in a cup,” as we refer to it on the cupping table.

Ethiopian Sidamo Nura Korate - for its lemony taste and aroma. While I’ve never visited this farm, the lemon note is what I remember detecting in Ethiopian coffee back in the late 80’s, when I “got it” in terms of what specialty coffee is.

Indonesian Sumatra Takengon  - because I was fortunate to spend some time in Asia in my college years and this is what we drank. Plus the Lake Takengon region is incredible.

But like I said, I like them all!

Wonderbrew!!! It is the PERFECT blend of dark and light coffees, which gives it a really unique flavor. It’s just simply WONDERful!!

Tina is actively involved with a local animal shelter and Boston area Dog Rescues. She is the founder of Kyle’s Legacy Inc, a non-profit that raises money for canine cancer research and treatment. In her free time she enjoys tropical travel, getting tattoos, the beach and spending quality time with her pup, Kody.

Sumatra French Roast and 2 Souls Dark Roast - Smokey and Bold. Starts out like a warm wake up hug and ends with the boost you need to get the day going.

Hands down my favorite coffee is Sweet Love Blend. It’s a great dark roast that is always mellow and never bitter. My entire family is hooked on Sweet Love.

I love most anything outdoors - from hiking, fishing, to just hanging out by a campfire. Sometimes it's simple pleasures, like throwing a ball back and forth. I rarely find the time to sit, but when I do, I enjoy the act of doing nothing at all. I love craft beer, a simple well-prepared meal, and of course great coffee!

Costa Rican La Hacienda Amistad and Sweet Love Blend - I am a man of extremes and my coffee preference is no different.

Spending time with my family and traveling; whether it be to Ireland to visit family like we did over the summer or to a KeHE or UNFI tradeshow, I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people. I also enjoy living by the beach and being a busy Lacrosse Mom.

I enjoy them all, but my go-to at home morning brew is our Colombian Santa Marta Montesierra. It’s just simply the perfect medium roast. Love its rich flavor!

My favorite Jim’s are Costa Rican Hacienda la Amistad and French Vanilla. Costa Rican is the perfect way to start the day, and French Vanilla sets the tone for a relaxing evening with its amazing aroma.

I love Wonderbrew for its syrupy body and Ethiopian Sidamo Nura Korate for its lemony brightness, but this month I’m especially into the balanced and brooding cup of the Blend X aka Witches Brew!

Mocha and Brew

Lastly - we can't forget about Mocha and Brew, our company mascots! Jim has had Mocha for 8 years, and Brew is still a puppy, born just 10 months ago. These Bernese Mountain Dogs love to be outdoors, get their tummies rubbed, and visit the organic coffee crew at our roasting facility. And we love that too!
